Lovely self-contained ground floor accommodation adjoining owner's home, but with its own private entrance and enclosed garden. Will sleep 1 - 6 people. Parking for several cars. Roineach Mhor is situated within the Cairngorms National Park and lies just off the B955 on the Rottal side of the glen. It is, therefore, in a quiet and peaceful setting. The short driveway is perfectly suitable for non 4x4 vehicles.

Glen Clova, one of the beautiful Angus glens, is famous for its rugged, mountainous scenery. There are a number of Munros to climb, corries to explore, the Caenlochan Nature Reserve with its Ranger Service to visit, fishing in the River South Esk and Clova Hotel is within 10 minutes walk from Roineach Mhor. The ornithologist, botanist, naturalist, geologist, artist and tourist are all welcome.

Kirriemuir, at 15 miles distance, is the nearest town. Dundee is about an hour's drive away and Perth an hour and a quarter. Kirriemuir boasts a Camera Obscura and was the birthplace of J.M Barrie, author of Peter Pan and Wendy. Glamis Castle, the family home of the late Queen Mother, is only five miles from Kirriemuir. Church services are held at Cortachy (10 miles) and in Kirriemuir and Forfar.

The accommodation comprises lounge/dining room, kitchen, shower room with toilet and basin and one, two or three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and the third has twin beds. A cot/ lilo bed for additional child/ person can be provided, if required. Pets by prior arrangement only and no smoking, please, within the premises.

The lounge/ dining area has a patio door through which one has an uninterrupted view of Ben Reid and the surrounding countryside. There is a large patio area and garden furniture for visitors' use. TV, a video, DVD player, CD player and radio/ cassette are in the lounge. Videos, books and games are also available.

The kitchen has an electric cooker with ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/ freezer, a combination microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and electric frying pan. A hoover, iron, ironing board and hair dryer are also provided. There is a washing line in the garden.

Weekends/ short breaks available at times.
