This 4½ acre flat, grassy site is situated in the grounds of a former mansion house in the burgh of Carnoustie. It is open from late March to mid October and offers a superb location for caravans, tents and motor-homes.

Carnoustie is most famous for its Championship Golf Course, six time host to the Open Golf Championship, but the area boasts plenty of attractions for golfers and non-golfers alike. Woodlands Caravan Park is only a 10-minute stroll from the town's popular beach and as the adjacent park offers not only a kiddies play area but room to exercise even the most energetic dog, the site provides a family holiday adventure for all ages.

The excellent facilities at Woodlands have earned a 4-star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board - with toilet/shower facilities with hairdryers; a laundry room with washing machines, tumble dryer, spinner, ironing board and iron; plus a dishwashing room and a recreation room.
