Belmont Arms Hotel

Located just outside Meigle amidst the stunning scenery of the Strathmore Valley on the borders of Angus and Perthshire, The Belmont Arms Hotel has welcomed travellers and tourists for over 150 years. Originally established as a Coaching and Posting House, where Alyth to Dundee coaches would change horses and passengers take refreshments, the Belmont Arms today continues to offer dining, drinking and overnight guests a warm and friendly welcome.

The Belmont Arms has a well deserved and growing reputation for great food. Our evening A La Carte menu offers a mix of fine traditional and continental cuisine, whilst during the day we offer an excellent lunch menu of home cooked bistro pub food. Our Sunday menu includes both traditional Sunday Roast and afternoon High Teas and we stock an excellent selection of malt whiskies, great wines, spirits and real ales any of which can be enjoyed by our log fire in Winter or 'bonny' garden with terraced decking and children's play area in warmer months.

The Belmont Arms Hotel is very conveniently located for visitors looking to enjoy the beautiful Strathmore Valley and nearby sporting and outdoor attractions including Glamis Castle, walking and cycling trails, shooting and fishing or a game of golf on one of the renowned nearby courses. Our guest rooms are spacious and attractively furnished and comprise of singles, doubles, twins and family size rooms, all with en-suite and available on a bed & breakfast basis.
