Events in Angus are a core part of community life and contribute to an exciting tourism product for visitors. In order to support event organisers in Angus and encourage quality and good practice, Angus Council aims to provide a "one stop" approach to events through this site.
In 2010, two successful training sessions ran entitled "Making a Success of your Event" and aimed at community groups in Angus who run events for the general public. This site has been developed following feedback from attendees who indicated great interest in further events of this nature, closer collaboration between event organisers and an interest in an online forum where organisers could share experiences and information.
