  • 11 December - Depicting the Dead; the Craniofacial Analysis of Ancient Faces - Dr Caroline Wilkinson, University of Dundee School of Life Sciences.
  • 8 January - Carpow, a late Bronze Age Logboat Brought to Life - David Strachan, Society of Antiquatries of Scotland.
  • 12 February - Archaeology in Angus; a Reconstruction in light of Recent Discoveries - John Sherriff, Investigator with the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland.
  • 12 March - The Age of Whaling in Montrose - Rhona Rodger, Curator of Social History, McManus Art Gallery, Dundee.
  • 9 April - The History of Urban Planning in Montrose - Neil Grieve, formerly University of Dundee School of the Environment.  Followed by AGM.
