Following the successful return of The Grand Scottish Prom in 2011, Glamis Castle is delighted to announce the formal partnership with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO), and to confirm the date for 2012. Newly styled The Prom at Glamis, it will feature for the second year running Scotland's leading orchestra and will take place in the historical setting on Saturday 11^th August 2012 , reverting to its traditional weekend. Gates open 4pm concert starts 8pm.

After 18 successful years under the stewardship of the late John Reid, and following two interim years, responsibility for the planning and production of the prom has gradually devolved to the Castle Administrator, David Broadfoot.

Please allow ample time for parking prior to the concert.

DOGS - guide dogs only may be admitted.
NO UNAUTHORISED GAZEBOS.

Please note; the concert takes place in the open air and there is no seating or cover available. Please bring chairs, cushions, rugs, umbrellas and arrive early to reserve your place. Gates Open 4pm. Concert begins 8pm.

Adults - Gate £35 valid from 1 August - 11 August.
