An ancient monument on Cambustane Hill in SE Angus, Cambus's Cross is an ornamented stone pillar, in the form of a cross, which stands over a small tumulus. Legend suggests it marks the point where the Danish General Camus (or Camus the Slayer) was killed and then buried after his army was said to have been defeated by Malcolm II at nearby Barry.
