A forested circular hill of North Central Angus, Mile Hill rises to 321m (1,053 feet) between the entrances to Glen Prosen and Glen Clova a half-mile (1 km) west of Dykehead.

The famous Captain Scott and Dr Wilson Cairn lies at a road junction on its north-west flank.
