The congregation of St. John’s church, Forfar extends a warm and friendly welcome to all. As well as the religious services for which this lovely old church is so well appointed there are social and community orientated activities throughout the year, such as the annual plant sale, BBQ, theatre trip, and concerts. The very active Tuesday Club meets regularly and has an interesting programme of speakers and outings. Members of St. John’s have recently been involved in fund raising events for Refilwe Aids Orphanage in South Africa, Jaccaranda House in Swaziland, Christian Aid Week, and charities for the homeless. St. John’s has much to offer. It has been said that a human being has yet to be born who has no need of some spirituality in their lives. At St. John’s you can enjoy this and the fellowship that is such an important part of our congregations life.
