Angus Glens Film Club

Issued: 1 October 2008

The Angus Glens Film club welcome everybody to their third season of Classic Films on Friday evenings at the Memus and Glens Community Hall.

They kick off with the 1961 Audrey Hepburn classic 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' on October 31st. The season, which runs monthly until March, also includes 'Chariots of Fire' on 28th November (a fundraiser organised by St Mary's Church Kirriemuir), 'Genevieve' on 16th January, 'Tunes of Glory' 27th February, 'East of Eden' 27th March and a seasonal showing on 12th December of the favourite - 'White Christmas'.

All the films have been selected from suggestions from local people and will be supported with trailers and cartoons. Tickets cost £3 and all films begin at 7-30pm. Free refreshments are available – altogether the events are very good value and a perfect family night out in a comfortable and well equipped hall. For more information call the Hall Manager on 01575 540208 or check the AngusGlensWebsite. Angus Glens Film Club is part of the Glens Millenium Group.
