Festive Licensing Deadline

Angus Licensing Board is advising the county's licensees that they have just a few weeks left to apply for any extension to their opening hours for Christmas Eve and Hogmanay.

The licensing team has written to licensees to advise them of the 1 December deadline to encourage affected businesses to get their applications in on time. This does not apply to off-sales.

Applications for extension to permitted hours for Christmas Eve and Hogmanay must be submitted to the council's licensing section at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar, DD8 1AN, by Monday 1 December 2008. Call 01307 476255/476256 for more information.

Any application for dates in December other than Christmas Eve and Hogmanay must be submitted giving at least 15 days notice, otherwise they will be refused.
