Ten Angus companies will be represented at Offshore Europe 2011 in Aberdeen this week.
Offshore Europe is the largest upstream oil and gas show outside of North America and is one of the world's major exhibitions for the oil and gas industries. It is held every two years in Aberdeen, Europe's energy capital,.
Angus Council has organised a block within Scottish Development International's Scottish Pavilion and will be exhibiting alongside eight of the companies. The eight companies are:

Angus Council economic development spokesperson, councillor David May said: "I am pleased that a good number of Angus companies are attending this important event, which has an ever expanding international profile in the oil and gas sector. This event represents a valuable opportunity for Angus Council to promote the county as a desirable location for inward investment, and to support local companies which are participating at the event and marketing their products and services."
Offshore Europe takes place in the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre, Aberdeen from 6 – 8 September. The theme of this year's event is 'Securing Safe, Smart, Sustainable Supply'. In addition to the exhibition, there will be a full programme of conferences covering every aspect of the offshore industry.
