Aberfeldy Oatmeal

You may not know this but in November last year Aberfeldy moved from Fife to Angus! In reality the Aberfeldy Oatmeal business was taken over by the Gray family at Milton Haugh Farm Shop. The products were so good they didn't want them to be lost from the shelves. The company was to wind up due to the staff retiring.

Obviously Aberfeldy started off in Perthshire but the oatmeal had not been milled in the old mill for quite a few years and was bought in from Kelso mill. It is still top quality Scottish oatmeal.

The range also has some great bread flours and the oatcakes won gold at the Great Taste awards this year. Since taking on the business a new sweet oatie biscuit has been developed from an old family recipe (a contender for the awards next year).
