A settlement of S Angus, Kingennie Fishings was developed in 2003-4 as a green-field housing development around a sport fishing centre of the same name, a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Wellbank and 3 miles (5 km) north of Broughty Ferry. Beyond the fishing club-house, the settlement has no dedicated facilities.
