Angus Farmers Market

On the first Saturday of each month Angus Farmers Market is held in Montrose High Street and on the second Saturday of each month it is held at Myre Park in Forfar. The first Farmers Market was staged in Forfar in July 1999 and was so successful that traffic in the area of the Myre Park came to a standstill as the public flocked to it.

The market is now an established event for local people and producers in the area, and is atracting more people to visit the area by offering high-quality local produce, including organically grown or manufactured goods. A variety of produce and goods are available for sale - beef, seafood, dairy products, locally made preserves, hand-made soap, crafts, and locally grown plants and cut flowers. Its a bustling lively event, with something to appeal to most buyers, and a friendly welcome for all. Meet the producers, buy local and know more about your food.
