At the Links Parade, you will pass the Rest Gardens, a particularly pleasant spot when the floral borders are in bloom.

Continuing down Links Parade on the beach front are tennis courts, the rugby club, paddling pool, and the Carnoustie Leisure Centre which was opened in October 1988.  It was originally built as the Beach Hall in 1934 to provide an indoor venue for the pierrots.  It was also used for concerts, theatricals and dances.
