Montrose Shotokan Karate is a family orientated club, most adult members train with their young relations. We train in Montrose Sport Centre on Mondays and Thursdays from 7pm –9pm. We have two qualified instructors, Chief Instructor 2nd Dan and level 2 coach, and the other instructor is a female 3rd Dan and also the clubs Child Protection Officer. We have achieved Gold in the Angus Club Excellence Award, run in conjunction with Angus Council and Angus Sports Council. We are affiliated to our governing body UKASKO. (united kingdom all styles karate organisation) as well as Angus Sports Council
