Present church built 1792 on site of church dedicated to St Fergus 1242. Substantially altered and beautified 1933. Classic bell tower and spire. Seventh-century Celtic stone in manse garden and Well of St Fergus nearby. Category B kirkyard with interesting stones. Strathmore Aisle (category A) built in 1459 by Isabella Ogilvy on death of her husband Patrick Lyon, 1st Lord Glamis. United with Inverarity.
