An esplanade and park lying a quarter-mile (0.4 km) to the west of Arbroath Harbour, the West Links lies along the North Sea coast leading to Arbroath's beaches. Located here is Kerr's Miniature Railway, Gayfield Park football ground, an amusement arcade, ten-pin bowling alley and night-club, together witha paddling pool and other tourist attractions. To the east lies Arbroath's Signal Tower Museum.

The West Links is a miniature fun world with a variety of exciting activities for all ages and abilities, and has a beautiful open outlook to the sea.

Also, there are more modern and innovative attractions such as mini racing cars and a road train.

As well as these attractions there is a large children's play area which contains a host of colourful, fun play equipment and is free of charge.
