Path to White Catherthun - thanks to www.angusglens.co.ukDescribed as one of the finest Prehistoric ruins in Britain, the White Caterthun is an Iron Age hillfort located on the Hill of Menmuir, 5 miles (8 km) north west of Brechin and 3 miles south of Edzell.

It comprises a complex of defences representing several phases of development.
