Airlie Monument

From Dykehead follow the way marks through the woods to the Monument.  Once you have enjoyed the superb views from there, you can either return by the same route or head north along the ridge to the "Goal".  From the Goal drop down to the road then you can simply follow this back to Dykehead or you can can make a detour from where the track splits to go round Mile Hill.  This takes you past amemorial to Scott of the Antarctic beside the road as he spent time in the area prior to his historic expedition.
