South Esk Walk
Easy;Under 12km;Nature/Country route

Unlike the other walks in the area this goes a short way up one side of the South Esk into upper Glen Clova and back down on the other.  The path follows the river bank for about a mile until you come to a bridge.  From here you should get a good view into the upper glen and of the Capel Mounth route into Deeside.  The area is a special area of conservation with Scotland's largest area of freshwater mussels.  Please take great care not to pollute the banks or the water with anything harmful.
