The Dounalt Walk
Easy;Under 12km;Nature/Country route

This route is mainly on forest tracks but a new footpath has been added to allow you to complete a loop.  There is a footbridge over the White Water, where you should get a good view up to the top of the glen.  In winter this area is frequented by deer so it is worth having a good look up at the slopes.  Beyond the bridge the path continues till it meets Jock's Road, which goes through to Deeside.  (Do not be tempted to go up the glen unless you are equipped and experienced  as this is a high level, very strenuous route).
