Forties Road Montrose

Forties Road has been instrumental in securing Montrose's status as a major centre for the North Sea oil & gas industry, with global players such as Halliburton, G E Oil & Gas, National Oilwell Varco and Petrofac Training all having substantial operations there.

Angus Council has built on this success by developing two extensions to the site. The first, completed in 2003, is nearing full occupancy. The second is due to be completed in 2011, and will create a variety of plots available for sale.
