Angus is located centrally on the East Coast of Scotland. It is under an hour to Aberdeen, just over one to Edinburgh and less than two to Glasgow.
Two main routes serve Angus. The A92 Dundee to Aberdeen road links the coastal towns. The A90 and A94 link the inland towns of Angus to the central belt and Aberdeen. The A90 links Angus with Dundee and to the M90 and Britain's motorway network.
The main East Coast rail line runs through Angus and the major stations of Arbroath and Montrose. Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond are all served by frequent services through Angus.
Angus is just an hour from Aberdeen which offers UK flights and connections. Aberdeen also has direct flights to Scandinavia and worldwide connections via Schiphol. Edinburgh offers direct shuttle flights to London and other European capitals and air hubs.
Glasgow has direct trans-Atlantic flights, international connections and UK shuttles. Dundee Airport has direct flights to London City Airport.
The port of Montrose has a regular service to Canada, the USA, Europe and Scandinavia. Port workers are experienced with bulk, semi-bulk and break-bulk cargoes and containers. There is a sixteen hectare oil support base with fabrication and engineering shops, office accommodation, quayside and bulk storage facilities and a deep water berth and strengthened quay. Dundee port handles containerised loads, bulk cargoes and has ro-ro terminals. Aberdeen has regular services to Orkney, Shetland, Europe and Scandinavia.
