busines club scotland logoBusinessClub Scotland is a new project designed to ensure that Scotland's business sector capitalises on the country's ambitious programme of events in the run-up to the Commonwealth Games in 2014, and beyond that date.

The Club aims to:

  • Enhance business competitiveness,
  • Create networks of supply chains,
  • Extend the reach of existing business networks,
  • Organise the procurement for events,
  • Encourage and develop expertise in event management and delivery,
  • Provide direct business involvement and targeted networking at events to win business.

Using the strength of Scotland's leading business organisations and supported by the Scottish Government, the Club aims to liaise with businesses across Scotland to maximise the commercial opportunities generated by major events - both at home and abroad.

Based on the experience of similar clubs in North West England, the Caribbean and Australia, BusinessClub Scotland is open to any business organisation in Scotland, and registration for the Club is free.
