Market Development Grant

The Market Development Grant provides financial assistance to encourage small and medium sized businesses to access new markets via exhibiting at trade missions in UK and overseas; participating in overseas trade missions and sourcing potential new business.

Financial assistance of 50% is available on net travel and accommodation costs up to a maximum of £1,000.

The scheme is targeted at indigenous companies employing less than 250 employees and with a turnover of less than £26.4 million (Euro 40 million) who are engaged either in manufacturing, the provision of business-to-business services or tourism related projects.
