Tayside Health for All provided funds for six schools to try to improve their tuck shops. Each school was provided with a fridge and a money grant to subsidise the purchase of healthier foods e.g. fresh milk, fresh fruit and alternative snack foods. This project is continuing with further funding from Angus Health for All and the Education Department. Thirty schools are now involved.
