Building Warrants in Angus

The processing and determination of Building Warrant Applications is the responsibility of Angus Council’s Building Control Department. As well as handling Building Warrant Applications, the Building Control department is also responsible for administering and determining Improvement Grant Applications and Repair Grant Applications, and deals with dangerous buildings.

Each Building Control Officer is responsible for a specific geographical area. Make an enquiry about building control, contact ACCESS on 08452 777 778.

Building Warrant Applications can now be viewed online through the Public Access for Planning site, which offers interactive features that allow users to search by application and search by property. The site also features a weekly list of planning decisions, notes of special interest and a location map.
