Children’s Activities

Making Pictish music at PictaviaAngus offers a host of activities to help children of all ages have fun learning about our local heritage, gaining new skills and developing confidence through new experiences.

All ages of children will enjoy Pictavia, Angus Council's purpose built Pictish heritage centre, telling the story of our ancestors using hands-on play, musical instruments, interactive touch-screen technology, and film.

Adjacent to Brechin Castle Centre's Restaurant and Garden Centre, and with the Country Park play area outside, there's lots for everyoe in the family to do and see.

Gymnastics for totsFor under 5's why not try the Ceramic Experience at Carnoustie where you can have a coffee while your children make crafts or tire them out at gymteds - a gymnastic class for tots held at your leisure centre.
