Angus Community

Angus Council acknowledges and supports the role of Community Councils and Area Forums within local communities and Angus' Burghs, particularly with respect to decentralisation. The Council endorses a system which respects and promotes the important links between the Burghs and their surrounding rural areas.

Community Councillors are members of the public who put themselves forward to be representatives of their community. You can find out more about  how to become a Community Councillor  from the Angus Council website.
