Communities in Angus are well served with local newspapers and radio stations. They play an important part of the community.


Newspapers

The Dundee Courier & Advertiser is published in 6 editions, one of those is the Angus edition. It carries local, national and international news.

The Arbroath Herald & Carnoustie Guide & Gazette are published by Johnston Press and is circulated around Arbroath, Carnoustie and Monifieth.

The Brechin Advertiser and Montrose Review and Forfar Dispatch and Kirriemuir Herald are published by Angus County Press, Scottish Radio Holdings.


Radio Stations

Angus has own local independent radio service, Radio North Angus, Local Radio Station 96.9FM, Brechin Infirmary 87.7FM, as well as being served by Radio Tay AM (AM 1161/ 1584) and FM (FM 96.4/ 102.8).
