The Towards Employment team in Angus provide help for individuals and families on a low income by removing the barriers they face when trying to move into employment, education, training or volunteering.
It is a free and confidential service offered across Angus.

I am interested in volunteer work but don't know if I have the necessary skills, will I receive any support? |

Towards Employment Team work closely with Volunteer Centre Angus. Your TET Key Worker and the staff at VCA will ensure you are provided with all the necessary advice, support and training at a pace that is right for you. |

I was made redundant from my last post and think it may be necessary to retrain in another area. Can TET help to fund this? |

You may qualify for assistance from an Angus Employability Grant. These can offer financial support up to a maximum of £1500 to pursue training where no other funding sources are available. For more details on eligibility, contact the Towards Employment Team. |

I have been offered a job, but don't think I can afford to pay the deposit and childcare costs needed by the nursery. Can TET help with this? |

We can offer short term childcare costs funding. Your TET Key Worker can help you through this process and ensure that this does not prevent you from taking up employment. |
