Pathhead Farm, in Kirriemuir, incorporates a riding stable, tack shop and nursery. Whether you are a new rider or a more experienced enthusiast, Pathhead Farm is just one of the many excellent facilities available to horse riding holiday-makers.

In the coastal area of Angus there is the Rowanlea Riding School, located in Barry (near Carnoustie). The riders at Rownlea are famed for their treks along the sandy and golden beaches between Carnoustie and Monifieth.

A visit to the Mountains Animal Sanctuary for rescued horses, ponies and donkeys, located at Glenogil near Forfar is inspiring.
