River meandering through the GlenThe Glorious Glens

Edzell  and Kirriemuir offer magical gateways to the magnificent Angus Glens. Walkers and cyclists love the Glens, with their varied skylines and habitats.

A haven for wildlife and a peaceful, accessible refuge from the hurly burly of modern life, the Angus Glens are the foothills of the mighty Cairngorm Mountains. Generations of our Pictish ancestors have inhabited this land, and have left their mysterious carved stones and ancient forts for us to ponder.
