Visit Glen Prosen, Angus

Glen Prosen, the most westerly of the Angus Glens, has a more pastoral feel than Glen Clova, and the views from the north side road are beautiful. The Glen is much more intimate than the great Glens of Esk and Isla, much of Glen Prosen is only accessible by foot.

Glen Prosen is a picturesque hamlet of a few scattered houses spread along the east side of the glen from Glen Prosen Church. The road up the east side of the glen is private, leading to Balnaboth and guarded by a gatehouse.
