About Outdoor Angus

Background
Outdoor Angus was set up in 2008 by a group of business owners who wanted to showcase the wide range of activities available in the area. The group comprises an eclectic mix of activity, equipment and accommodation providers, along with others with an enduring interest in the outdoors.

about-page2What the Outdoor Angus Group Does
Each member of the group has a passionate affinity for the unique geographical situation of Angus, ranging from the wilderness of the mountains and moors in the north and west, to the cliffs and long sandy beaches in the south and east.

There are few places in Scotland with such a stunning range of scenery providing the opportunities for the varied outdoor pursuits and supporting facilities that are available.

The group felt that the best way to promote what was available was to collectively publicise the area and to encourage visitors to experience Angus for themselves, by taking advantage of the facilities and expertise of its members.
