Canyoning
Have a go at this ultimate adventure day at one of the most spectacular locations in Angus.The canyon day has all the thrills and spills of the gorge walk but has one or two extras thrown in. Experience the thrill of a 25 metre abseil into the bottom of the gorge followed by an exciting swim down to the jump pool.
Kiting
Although Angus is not known as a kiting destination there are some great locations for all types of fliers.Arbroath's Victoria Park (the Vicky) is great for all standards of fliers and even the odd paraglider has been seen taking off from the grassy cliffs.
With spectacular sand dunes backed by a rolling Angus countryside, Lunan Bay is a wide open stretch of golden sands.This is a fantastic venue for those wanting lots of space to learn.Although no restrictions are in place care must be taken as this is a very popular family beach and can get pretty crowded.
With its even sets of surf Lunan Bay is attracting more and more surfers, kite surfers, body boarders, sea kayakers and kite boarders which goes to make this an all round adventure pursuits beach.
