Angus has fascinating historic sites, castles, great visitor centres, excellent leisure facilities, a heritage railway, and a number of well established trails - such as the Angus Coastal Trail and the Angus Pictish Trail.

Visit the Angus Wildlife Reserves, including Seaton Cliffs, MontrosMontrose Basin Wildlife Centree Basin, Loch of Lintrathen and Balgavies Loch, all supported by the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

The Seaton Cliffs Nature Trail offers an ideal day out for families to enjoy nature, and it is an educational day, introducing visitors to a number of different species of wildlife. Here you will see Lapwings, Oyster-catchers, Curlews, Purple Sandpipers, Herring gulls and Black-headed gulls in the winter.
