As part of Angus and Dundee Tourism Partnership's efforts to help local tourist-related businesses survive and prosper in the current economic climate, a one-day tourism conference was held at Carnoustie Golf Hotel on Friday 24 April 2009.
The conference - which was sponsored by Angus Council, Dundee City Council and VisitScotland - attracted some of the most influential people in the Scottish tourism industry.
David Adams, Chair of the Angus and Dundee Tourism Partnership, opened the conference, and the morning session included the following four presentations:

Lunch was prepared by the Chef at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel, using ingredients provided by local food suppliers.
