10 March 2011  Professor Roland Paxton Lecture - Bell Rock Lighthouse Design and Construction 1806-1811, Angus College.
18 March 2011   'Let There Be Light' - stories, readings, music and song about the Bell Rock and other Scottish lighthouses. Venue: Annie Gilruth Hall, Auchmithie. 
19 March 2011   Jazz at Hospitalfield - a jazz concert to celebrate the bicentennial of the Bell Rock Lighthouse. Venue: Hospitalfield House, Arbroath.

Angus Glens Walking Festival: Year of the Light Walk. The walk starts at the Signal Tower Museum which was built as a support base for the Bell Rock Lighthouse.
