Arbroath Seafront Spectacular

Now in its eighth year, the Arbroath Seafront Spectacular is being held on Saturday 23 July 2011 at Victoria Park, Arbroath, from 11am to 6pm.

This Event has gained in popularity with each successive year, and even the participants are asking if they can return to perform as they enjoyed the show so much.

In 2009, Arbroath Events were awarded the Tourism Ambassador Award at a ceremony in Carnoustie by Angus Council, and we endeavour to always improve the quality of the acts who perform to the crowd.

This year we welcome back the Breitling Wingwalkers who amazed last years visitors to the show, and will perform under their new livery as they are now sponsored by Breitling Watches.

Courtesy of the RNLI, Arbroath Lifeboat will be working with a Royal Navy Sea King Helicopter demonstrating a ship to helicopter transfer, or why not try a pleasure flight over the Arbroath area in a Lothian helicopter.

A new act to Arbroath is Steve Colley who will perform skills on a motorcycle that have not been seen on the Victoria Park before. This rider must be seen to be believed.

If you like your entertainment a little quieter, Zero Gravity are sure to please as they demonstrate incredible stunts on their modified mountain bikes.

Literally dropping in to visit is a return visit from the Golden Lions parachute team. You will be able to watch these experts freefalling before opening their parachutes and landing in the arena.

We are combining this with a free competition for the children and also one for the adults. See your programme for details.

Also to appear are Kerr's Miniature Railway who are this year celebrating their 75^th Birthday and are bringing along two of their vehicles to provide rides in the arena. Children of all ages will be sure to remember these .

Add to the items above various car clubs, Harley Davidson motorbikes, live music, a funfair and much, much more and you are bound to have a great day out.
