Finish: In Kirriemuir at 16.00. Refreshments available in the Town.
Registration: ALL Walkers must register with the Event Centre at Kirriemuir Town Hall at least 15 minutes prior to bus departure. If you are planning to meet the bus en route or are travelling to the walk's starting point by your own transport, then you can register by phone on 07825 387330. If you do not register, you will not be permitted to join the walk.
About the walk: From Meams Hill up onto the striking small fort on Castle Hill before descending towards the Loch of Kinnordy and back to Kirriemuir. The walk takes in a variety of habitats including moorland, farmland, woodland and marsh so there is plenty of scope for spotting wildlife. Walk back to Kirriemuir via "The Den". Enjoy great views south across Strathmore and north to the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains.
Full hillwalking gear required. Please bring a packed lunch.
