| Description | Very Strenuous This is a chance to join a stalker who will be able to get the group up to the wild Red Deer herds and there may also be sighting of other wild inhabitants of the moorland. This is a must for those interested in the natural heritage of the uplands and a chance to speak to the experts. Most of this route will be on rough ground away from tracks and participants will need to be able to make good progress over steep and rough ground. The route will be in the head of glen Esk and will be dependant on how the wind direction and weather affect the deer. Please bring binoculars. Full hillwalking gear required. Please bring a packed lunch. |
