Montrose Basin Webcam

The Montrose camera is situated on the front gallery area of the excellent Scottish Wildlife Trust Montrose Basin Wildlife Centre. The Centre provides superb views across this tidal basin at the mouth of the South Esk as it flows to the North Sea at Montrose Estuary. Seals, herons, eider, and many hundreds of small waders inhabit the Basin, ospreys hunt here in Summer, and thousands of pink-foot geese winter here.

Find out what’s happening today in the nest boxes and along the shore of this beautiful tidal basin in North Angus. Get a bird's eye view of the wildlife, and of the beautiful vista beyond to the Angus Hills. Make us one of your Favourites and come back again...

Note* This camera may be offline from time to time, to protect the privacy of minors using the centre's facilities, please come back another time to enjoy the great views.
