GET CONTROL OF THE CAMERA

Only one person can control the camera view at any one time. When you access the camera, a message comes up along the bottom 'click to start control'. If you click the control button and nothing happens, it means that soneone esle is in control of the camera. The timer will show you how many seconds they have left before you can gain control.

MOVING THE CAMERA

There are THREE ways to control the camera.

  • using the pan/tilt scrollbars
  • click on the camera image and that area will become the centre of the display
  • using the dropdown preset menu

TAKE A SNAPSHOT

You can take a snapshot of whatever image is currently displayed on the camera. The snapshot is opened in a new window allowing you then to save or print the desired image via the features provided by your web browser.

Please note
I
f you experience problems in trying to view the webcams (for example, if a red cross icon appears on the page), then Java VM may not be installed by default on your computer, and you may not see the cameras. If this is the case, please install it.
