Here are some questions and answers about the locations featured in the adverts. The ads show only a small selection of the fantastic things to see and do in Angus so for more information click the 'Home' button at the top of the page or go to www.angusahead.com.
In the Golf Advert, which courses are shown? The courses shown are Carnoustie Championship (the famous 18th hole that crosses Barry Burn - twice!), Kirriemuir (looking towards the Glens) and Letham Grange, near Arbroath. What are the locations for the Heritage Advert? The Heritage Advert starts off with the steam train that runs between Brechin and House of Dun (a famous Jacobite mansion). Then it shows a Pictish stone at Aberlemno, before moving on to Arbroath Abbey (where the famous Declaration of Independence was signed in 1314), and finishing with a classy drive to Glamis Castle.
In the Outdoor Advert, where were the walkers at the beginning?
The beautiful Glen Clova. Angus is ideal walking country - there are miles of walking trails perfect for family rambles or serious day hikes.
Where were the kayakers sitting at the end of the Outdoor ad? Lunan Bay, near Montrose. The Angus coastline is a mix of calm sea fishing towns and vibrant seaside enclaves where you can watch the surfers, sailors, windsurfers and other water sports enthusiasts enjoying their time - or you could always join in, of course!
Where were the car & bike stunt shots taken? Angus is home to a number of vibrant annual festivals including two annual events in Arbroath - Seafest and Seafront Spectacular, from which the stunt shots were taken. Find out what's on in Angus and view videos of past events.
